On the 31st of January, the Tory Government will take Scotland out of the European Union against its will.

The Scottish Greens will be rallying in Glasgow at 12:00 on this day to mark the occasion together and to launch the Green Yes campaign to re-join the European Union as an independence nation.

Scotland voted to remain, has repeatedly elected pro-remain parties since the referendum, and the Scottish Parliament has refused to consent to Boris Johnson’s deal by an overwhelming majority. Ignoring this, and taking us out of the EU on the 31st is a democratic outrage that we must resist. Let’s make the 31st the start of a new journey, a journey towards a truly democratic, independent European nation.

Event organised by Independence For Dundee & Angus Group. Please join us in the City Square on Friday 31st January 2020, where we will be holding a candlelit vigil to mark Scotland being dragged out of the EU against our will.

Yes2 Kirkcaldy will be holding an event in Kirkcaldy Town Square on Friday 31st January at 7 pm to mark Scotland being taken out of the EU against its will. Bring flags, torches, led lights, candles etc.

5-7pm Speakers, music light show, details to follow and 10pm to 11pm a time for reflection plus anthem singing

Glasgow Loves EU invite you to come and join us to mark the sad occasion of our official leaving time from the European Union.

Once 23:00 has passed and the UK no longer is an official member of the European Union all attendees will have the opportunity to contribute white and yellow roses to the installation outside our parliament before dispersing.
