Good luck to +commonweal and their new venture. I'll certainly be registering and making use of it!

However I'm a bit irked by their statement proclaiming it "Scotland's social network" when KILTR has existed for years.

And that it has been "two years in the making" is a bit of a slap in the face to those of us who genuinely have taken 2 years to build such a platform, and not decided to take the easy route of renting software that someone else has already created.

Their support hasn't "built an entire network". Their support has allowed them to spend €99 a month on the Enterprise Edition of Humhub.

I wish all success, but building this up to be something it is not, is something that has annoyed me for years. Installing a theme is not "coding", neither is installing software giving you the right to claim you've been building it for years.

Just saying.
