Scottish Green MSP Mark Ruskell today (15 May) launched a three month consultation on his proposed "Safer Streets" member's bill, which would lower the default speed limit in urban areas from 30 to 20 mph.Yesterday, an opinion poll showed that most Scots support the idea, while a quarter say the lower limit would make them more likely to walk or cycle.Mark Ruskell MSP said:
