Following a painful #GE2019 Result, Red Strathclyde presents a - better late than never - #StrathRefresh2020 event you won't want to miss!

The 2019 UK General Election was painful for progressives across the UK, to say the least. Scotland overwhelmingly rejected the Tories yet, having been swept to power via England, the Tories now reject democracy by refusing to grant a Section 30 Order to transfer legal recognition to a future referendum on Scottish Independence. It appears we are on the verge of a constitutional crisis.

In this climate, hear from Benn Rapson, National Organiser of the Red Party of Scotland, on "A 𝑹𝒆𝒇𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒉𝒆𝒅 Case for an Independent Socialist Republic of Scotland!" Followed by a Q&A as well as general discussion.

A similar event was held during #StrathFreshers2019 - this event builds and improves upon it with an updated and strengthened case, providing more people the opportunity to attend!
