@natbot That's a brilliant assessment of English identity and I think it's pretty much spot on. The English haven't quite separated "England" and "Britain". There is no English identity, only British - but with Britain defined from a bygone era.

@Murchie Yes, and it makes me believe that Scottish independence will just as beneficial for England as it is for Scotland. They can then get to define who they are on their terms (and they can stop dragging Scotland along with their narrative which has nothing to do with us!).
