+AlbaParty Beets me why unionists don't support the SNP, the only way to ensure the union survives tbh.🤬🤪

+ScotNational Who, precisely, is it that needs fire in their bellies? The SNP? they haven't exact set the independence heather on fire since 2014 have they.

+ScotNational I don't think refering to criticism of the ScotWind 'deal' as opposition is correct, Scots are rightly pointing to the deficiencies with it for Scotland and our economy. Yet again we've lost out, if that's due to being part of the UK then say so, it's time to stop trying to polish the smelly brown stuff.

Really clear explanation by Dick Winchester of why Scotland is going to lose out AGAIN from the opportunity to develop a renewable energy supply chain

+BelieveInScotland "The problem was that the White Paper was dry, boring, and uninspiring – there was no truly positive vision for people to buy into"
This was, and sadly, still is the big issue the SNP has not addressed, not everyone wants a their left of centre focused society. For independence to succeed it has to appeal to ALL Scots, it needs to be about what WE want, OUR ideals, OUR culture.
Replying to
+ScotNational Scots didn't have a say in 1707, in fact the vast majority didn't want the union. A multi cultural Scotland is a vastly different place to repatriate our sovereignty, especially when our elected representatives have been so abysmal at presenting the independence case.
Replying to
+ScotNational Not only that but nobody can provide a sustainable way for Scotland to improve it's economic performance or eliminate that notional deficit whilst 'an equal partner' of the UK.
