Yes Elgin/Moray - Bridges for Indy this morning. Great response. Thanks to Jane and Ewan for the photos.
A great meeting this evening with Cliff Purvis from Veterans for Scottish Independence with a wide-ranging discussion which included how to promote Independence amongst ex-service personnel, the role of a defence force in an independent Scotland, UK imperialism and even a mention of public procurement!

For information, below is the link to the paper that was referred to at the event:...

Cliff Purvis from Veterans for Scottish Independence will be speaking about the role of his organisation, its place in the Independence movement and how we can encourage former service personnel to support the cause of Scottish Independence.

Elgin is based in Moray which has a high prevalence of ex-service personnel, many who have remained in the area following service at the local military bases at Kinloss and Lossiemouth.

In Moray we are seeing a greater willingness to consider Independence positively from this section of the Moray population so a discussion how we might better engage military veterans is timely.
