🚌 Under 22s Free Bus Travel Scheme

Young people and children aged 5-21 years old in Scotland can now apply for their new or replacement National Entitlement Card (NEC) or Young Scot NEC to be ready for the introduction of free bus travel for under 22s starting on 31 January 2022.

📣 Free bus travel will take pressure off finances and improve access to education, leisure, and work.

I was delighted to present the Relish It team with a parliamentary motion recognising their success at the Food Awards Scotland 2021.

The Kirkcaldy business saw off fierce competition to scoop the accolade of Best Street Food, all thanks to the passion, vision and dedication of Konnor and his staff.

🚊 It was great to see the progress of the Levenmouth rail link and to hear that despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, the reopening of the railway remains on track for December 2023.

I was also pleased to have the opportunity to discuss the ongoing engagement between Network Rail and the local community. The reinstatement of the line is the largest investment in the Levenmouth area...

Yesterday, I spoke in the Stage 1 debate on the general principles of the Transvaginal Mesh Removal (Cost Reimbursement) (Scotland) Bill.

I paid tribute to the women who have campaigned with determination and passion and to the mothers, daughters, sisters and families all across the country whose lives have been negatively affected by life changing complications and pain.

Lovely afternoon spent at the Showmen’s Guild Annual Luncheon. Nice to catch up with everyone and to see things getting back to normal for the Showmen after a difficult 18 months.
Can’t believe it’s ten year’s since I first met these three ladies at Nourish, it has come a long way since it’s early beginning and become an excellent support centre,but more importantly one huge family. Happy Birthday 🎂 Nourish. 🥂

What a good turnout for Remembrance Sunday in Kirkcaldy today, We Will Remember Them.
Visited the Polish Club and school this afternoon. It was a very emotional performance from the pupils about Poland’s struggle for Independence.
