This week, I’m taking part in the #BigPlasticCount - the UK’s biggest ever investigation into household plastic waste!

We have all seen programmes such as Blue Planet which highlight the devastating impact single-use plastic is having on our planet 🌎

Thank you to everyone who tried to guess the birthday of the Koala today at the Deacons Court Street Fair.

The correct date was 8th December which was the day that Mary Queen of Scott's was born.

Nobody got the exact date unfortunately but the closest was the 12th so the lucky winner was Lucy McGowran seen here with her prize.

Congratulations Lucy.

I was also able to hear about how the space has been developed in collaboration with the neurodiverse young people who attend to ensure it meets their needs. I have been involved with the Donaldson Trust’s work for many years now and am...

I was delighted to attend the Mental Health Foundation's parliamentary reception to mark #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek.

This year, the theme is loneliness and its relationship with mental health.

We are all likely to feel lonely at some point in our lives. Taking positive measures, such as physical activity, can reduce some of the damaging feelings loneliness may cause.

If you are struggling...

Thank you to all our amazing nurses for their dedication, skill and compassion.

Nurses across the country have played an incredible part in looking after us all when we've needed it most - especially over the last two years.

Today we honour, celebrate and thank you💙
