This afternoon I laid the Council wreath at the Woodilee Memorial. It’s protocol that a Councillor lays a wreath on behalf of the Provost, who is the symbolic representation of all the residents of East Dunbartonshire. So today was even more poignant than normal, and it was moving to hear Rev. Ireland mention Provost Brown in his prayer. We will remember these 20 brave men from Woodilee, and...

I’ve got a long list of things I’d like to see East Dunbartonshire Council spend money on – the regeneration of Bishopbriggs town centre being one of them.

What do you think should be a priority?

It won't surprise you that I've got a pretty clear view on the plans to split our constituency in two, but I want to hear what you think.

Take part in my quick survey and shape how I respond to the Boundary Commission consultation. 👇👇👇

I know some of you are concerned about rising energy costs. That's why I've teamed up with Citizens Advice Scotland to bring you an Energy Advice Surgery.

At the same time as rising energy costs, the Tories have cut the £20 uplift to Universal Credit, removed furlough support, and ended self-employment support. As a result, some people this winter will face the terrible choice between...

In case anyone hasn't seen this, the Boundary Commission for Scotland has now published its initial proposals for the next Westminster boundary review, which are subject to an 8 week consultation period, and will reduce the number of Scottish constituencies to 57. The final recommendations require to be tabled by June 2023.
