The Buchanan Institute will be hosting our first guest speak this Thursday (10/11/22) from 6-7pm at 50 George Square, G.05!

Dr. Markus Ketola is a senior lecturer in international and global social policy and will be discussing his research in the role of NGOs in the design and delivery of social policy as well as the transnational aspects of NGO work.

We are looking to recruit a campaign director who will take the role of stakeholder engagement alongside campaigning for Buchanan’s policy proposals!

We are opening applications for sub-committee positions and a new committee position - Campaigns Director!

The Communications Sub-Committee will assist the Publicity officer and Communications director in their weekly tasks. This will include helping make graphics, write newsletters, contact alumni and engage with stakeholders.

In this first session you’ll get to meet the committee alongside fellow researchers on your research team.

In addition to some icebreakers, we will be discussing what the year will look like at Buchanan and answer all the questions you may have!

Last Monday we hosted our annual exhibition and our researchers had a chance to present the results of their year-long research projects!

We are delighted to announce that our Annual Exhibition will take place on the 28th of March 2022 at the St Ninians Hall, the Charteris Centre, between 5:30 and 7:30 pm.
